Fundraising Raffle to support Chermside Burul Scout Group

The Chermside Burul Scout Group, which meets on Monday nights during school term times, is raising money for two Scout Leaders and twelve youth members to attend the 25th Australian Scout Jamboree from 4th – 13th January 2019 at Tailem Bend in South Australia. The Australian Scout Jamboree is held once every three years and is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a Scout.

Jamborees are a lot of fun but also an immersion experience, where Scouts undertake challenging adventures that deepen critical and creative thinking and build self-confidence, leadership, problem solving, team work and personal responsibility. The development of these skills will enable youth members to actively and meaningfully contribute towards a sustainable, global community; a community of the future.

Tickets are priced at $5 each, 4 tickets for $20, 10 tickets for $50, 20 tickets for $100
