We are the oldest and longest serving community rescue helicopter in Australia, and the only specialist search & rescue helicopter in NSW. In 2018 we celebrate 45 years of free service to the community, saving in excess of 24,000 lives since 1973. We rely heavily on public support to keep our fleet of helicopters flying, so please know that every cent you contribute counts. With a service region covering some 6 million people, our crews remain on standby, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We hope you never need us, but if you do, you won’t get a bill, ever. Thank You.
