Rainbow House Kenya

Rainbow House Children’s Home was opened in 2007 in Gede, Kenya and is home to 43 children, ranging from 1-17 years of age. The home provides a safe and caring environment for these children. Many projects are underway to improve facilities for Rainbow House, providing education opportunities and financial support to facilitate growth and self-sustainability. As a long term volunteer, I am running a raffle on behalf of Rainbow House Kenya, to help raise some much needed funds for the completion of the ‘Transition House’. Kenyan law states that once a child is 18 years old, they may no longer reside in a Children’s Home. Rainbow House has purchased the neighbouring block of land for a home our children turning 18 can live whilst completing their schooling and transitioning in to adult life with care.
