My name is Rayni and I am 39 years old and I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS). I am trying to raise enough money so I can go to Russia to receive a radical new stem cell treatment which is currently not available in Australia. This is my only chance to stop the progressive and aggressive nature of this terrible disease.

At the age of 18 I was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS). I have attacks when symptoms flare up and then I have a period of partial recovery. I still have permanent symptoms from these attacks such as impaired vision, numb feet, stiff muscles, reduced coordination in my lower limbs and unbearable fatigue. Unfortunately, there is no cure for MS.

I have been living with RRMS for 20 years. Luckily, I have managed to keep my attacks to a minimum. However, I am fundamentally aware that the next phase for me is secondary progressive MS, which is a more aggressive form of the disease, as the name suggests, the disease progresses further.
